Meet Your Coach

Dr. Randy Helms brings over 45 years of pastoral and leadership experience to the table. His journey began in 1976 at Moffat Road Assembly of God in Mobile, Alabama. Since then, he has served in a wide range of ministry roles—including youth pastor at the iconic Carpenter’s Home Church in Lakeland, Florida; associate pastor at Cathedral of the Cross in Birmingham, Alabama; and lead pastor roles in West Memphis, Arkansas and currently at GT Church Assembly of God in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he has faithfully led since 1995.

Beyond the local church, Dr. Helms serves as Presbyter of Pinellas County and Executive Presbyter for the Peninsula Florida District of the Assemblies of God, providing oversight, counsel, and encouragement to pastors and leaders throughout the region. His life and ministry have been marked by spiritual integrity, relational wisdom, and a passion for developing strong, healthy leaders.
